We believe that for soccer to grow we must be successful in encouraging the maximum of talented athletes who choose soccer as their primary sport to have a venue to explore their gifts.OPDEA EDP Girls Travel Program began in 2019, led by the EDP Director, Rosa Fenwick. The Elite Development Program Soccer (EDP) is one of the largest organizers of youth soccer leagues and tournaments in the U.S. 


EDP exists to support soccer programs in the region which are professionally-managed with player development as their primary focus, and thereby to support the growth of soccer in the United States.  

We believe that for soccer to grow we must be successful in encouraging the maximum of talented athletes to that choose soccer as their primary sport have a venue to explore their gifts.


OPDEA EDP program is dedicated to the development of highly competitive young women in the Southern Maryland area.

OPDEA SC Eagles participates in the Championship Divisions. The travel is less as teams compete with similar level opponents inside a smaller radius. We find that coaches, players and parents who value a good balance of appropriate competitive level and sensible travel prefer to play in this environment.

Donations are used to purchase equipment, attend tournaments and other EDP program operation costs.  All funds provided are tax deductible due to OPDEA Inc. 501(c)3 youth development organization public charity status.
